We have beautiful vacation rentals all over the country, and we’re actively looking for freelance photographers to help us capture our properties. Become an Evolve Photographer and your work will be used as the cornerstone of our listings.
How It Works
We partner with professional real estate photographers like you (and pay you directly) to provide high-definition photographs for our property listings. Here’s how it works:
You own a DSLR camera capable of auto bracketing at least five frames, a tripod, ultra-wide angle lenses
You pass our screening process and complete a test shoot (real estate photography required)
We work with you and the owner to coordinate photoshoot details
You capture interior and exterior HDR photos that follow our guidelines
You provide unedited images and a brief review of each home based on our property standards

- Full-time guest support. Our in-house team responds quickly to every guest inquiry, answers questions about the property, and confirms bookings seven days a week — even on nights and weekends.
- Vetted local partners. Our network of reliable, on-the-ground partners help owners with check-ins, housekeeping, restocking supplies, and more.
- Peace of mind. Every stay is backed by our risk protection programs, with up to $5,000 in damage reimbursement per booking for Core owners and up to $10,000 for Plus owners.
- Unrivaled value. There’s no cost to join, no long-term commitment and no hidden fees — just our industry-low management fees starting at 10% that are backed by our Risk-Free Guarantee.
All photographers who work with Evolve must have real estate photography experience. They must also have the following equipment:
- DSLR camera with auto bracketing capabilities
- Tripod
- Ultra-wide angle lens
- 14-16mm on a full frame camera
- 10-11mm on a crop sensor camera
As part of the application process, you’ll complete a test photoshoot in accordance with our photoshoot standards.
There’s no cost to become an Evolve photographer, and we pay you directly for your services. Once you submit photos from a shoot, our team will verify you’ve met our photoshoot standards and that you’ve included all the contracted shots. From there, your payment will be approved!
Earn Up to $400 for Every Successful Referral
When you refer an owner who joins Evolve, we’ll send you cash and your referral will get a management fee credit. The amount you’ll both receive depends on the management plan they choose — $200 if they sign up for Core and $400 for Plus.
