• Pests, hot, slow drains, just not a great stay, need improvements

  Check in was fine. First evening there we encountered ants running along the inside baseboards & under the sofa. I noticed it when I found some crawling on me & when one bit my toe. Immediately reached out to the property management contact and heard back from them that they had called for pest control to come to the property. In the meantime, we moved the sofa to discover what the ants were excited about & cleaned up that area to discourage their stay as well as cleaning up the baseboards. About 12 hours after discovering the ants, I opened the bottom oven drawer to look for a baking sheet & a mouse ran out & towards the locked housekeeping storage door. I notified property management & was told to let the pest control person know when they arrived. Pest control arrived & sprayed inside & outside for ants & laid two traps inside for the mouse. Pest control also told me to let property management know about the multiple cobwebs outside & advised on additional pest control measures. I did not see the mouse again during the stay & it was not on the traps when we left. When I opened the trash can it was full from a previous stay, there was not enough room for our two bags, tinfoil to-go pan & one small bathroom trash bag. There were many, many flies when the lid was first opened. We placed our two bags on top of the previous bags but could not close the lid. House stays around 72 degrees regardless of setting. Plastic on mattresses. 1st floor bathroom sink slow to drain.

• Visiting for Bowling Tournament

  My family of four and our friends which was a family of 3 stayed at this house while in town for a youth bowling tournament. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and well located for all of the places we went during our trip. The house was clean and well-stocked. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

• Not as expected

  The kitchen and living area were up to par and well stocked for a short stay. The cutlery drawer could have used some cleaning. Their linen closet was well stocked. When we first arrived, the first thing I wanted to do was sweep the welcome rug. It was dirty and unwelcoming. I was also very disappointed with the bathrooms. They were not well cleaned. The bath tubs are old and I think pained over. They have old stains and you could clearly see dirty stains in the bath tubs.( Please note you do not see clear pictures of the bath tub at all). The shower walls were dirty as well in both bathrooms. In the toilet of the master bathroom upstairs, the toilet paper holder was broken and toilet paper kept falling on the ground each time we used the bathroom. There was also a broken handle on one of the drawers in the master bath. The lamps next to the beds did not work. The mattresses were comfortable but they are lined with a Plastic mattress cover which made it impossible to sleep quietly or even turn without making a crunchy sound. Their bed covers are thin, white blankets (not as shown on the pictures) and we found a dirty one in the master closet stuffed on one of the shelves while looking for extra cover. Please also note that there is only one TV in the entire rental. I did not mind that but it is worth noting for those who do mind.

• Beautiful Property

  My family and I enjoyed our stay. It was close to the University as my wife was graduating. Home was equipped with necessities except an iron. Luckily my wife carried our travel steamer. Would stay at this property again.

  The physical appearance was very beautiful inside and out. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Check in was very easy and communication with the property management team was no issue at all.
