5/5 Lovely property and beautiful view. Yard had not been mowed and we feared we were at the wrong residence initially. Overall was clean, but some sticky ring places were on a couple tables, lamps without bulbs, etc. owner is lovely but may need to checkup on his cleaners. Showers weren’t sparkling.

Great vacation spot
3/5 Property is in a great location for spending time on the river and Sylamore creek. Access to the river at the property is a little challenging. The stairs and decks are rotted and do not go all the way to the water depending on water level. There was no dustpan in the house and limited amount of other cleaning supplies/trash bags.

Hi Ethan, we’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the location and proximity to the river and Sylamore Creek. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- The staircase is not rotted, but a few weathered boards were in need of replacement. A local contractor has been scheduled to take care of those updates.
- The stairs are not designed to lead directly into the water, as the river current can be quite strong. For safety, guests are encouraged to enjoy the river views from the property and visit nearby public spots for swimming or fishing.
- We’ve asked Evolve to clarify that there is no riverfront access, but it has riverfront views.
- We’ve also requested an update to the listing to reflect that a starter kit of essentials is included—items like trash bags, paper towels, and basic cleaning supplies are provided, but not stocked for extended stays unless noted.

5/5 Absolutely wonderful! The house was so comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood burning fireplace and the huge kitchen. The dining area was perfect for eating together and playing evening games. The deck overlooking the river was so relaxing. It was the perfect spot for morning coffee and evening refreshments. The host was responsive and answered all questions quickly. The short drive to Blanchard Springs Recreation Area is a must see with an easy walking path along beautiful waterfalls and lake. We would absolutely come again!!
