• Ok, but wouldn’t stay here again

  This home is very basic. It was clean, but to be honest, we would not stay here again. I do think the home has great potential, though. Adding furniture inside and outside of the home would make a big difference. There was nothing really in it except for a 1 large couch, 1 kitchen table, and beds in the bedrooms. Lots of wasted space. The front room would be great if there was a pool table or some extra seating. The bedrooms are set up comfortably; however, the beds make so much noise if you move just a little bit. The bunk beds are older and squeak very loudly. The backyard is very bare. Only about 5 chairs were safe enough to sit on. We were disappointed that we could not sit on the upstairs deck to see the view. We found out the day before and wish that had been disclosed prior to booking. We still enjoyed our time with our friends and their families. Thankfully, we were on the lake most of the time.

  - We’ve chosen a minimalist layout to keep the space open and uncluttered, though we understand this may not match everyone's preferences.
  - The upstairs deck was reinforced several months ago and is safe for a few people at a time. We’ve chosen not to add furniture there to maintain safety.
  - We’re sorry the beds weren’t as comfortable as you’d hoped. We’ll check the bunk beds to see if the squeaking can be taken care of.
  - There are five sturdy chairs and a table in the backyard, which we feel offer a comfortable setup without overcrowding the space.

• Very disappointing.

  I was extremely disappointed in this Airbnb. The photos were completely misleading- When we arrived, the place was dirty and clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. The air filters on the walls were caked in gray fuzz, the microwave and dishes were filthy, we found pills on the floor, stains on the mattresses, only one door on the shower so the floors were soaked, with in minutes of walking on the floors our feet were black, soap bottles were refilled with WATER!, we found our sheets in a box on the garage floor and our towels still in the dryer. There was little to no cooking accommodations and no blow dryer. Most of the patio furniture was damaged and filthy . The chairs were smashed and were not safe to use. For the amount of money we paid to stay here we could have gotten a cheap hotel with free breakfast and saved a bunch of money.

  I notified the host and sent pictures and little effort was made to correct these problems.

  we would never stay at this home again 0r recommend to a friend.

  Stay was overall okay!!! If you want the pool heated let Martin know 2days ahead of time also Jetski available to rent for a decent price….

The owner noted that the listing mentions pool heat must be requested at least two days in advance, as it can take some time to fully warm up. They also have the jet skis advertised on the listing, and we're glad you had the chance to enjoy that option during your stay.

• Nice Stay - Some Disappointing things.

  The house was wonderful. It was good for our large family meeting from different states.

  A few disappointing things, like they don't supply pool towels, any chairs by the pool and don't tell you until you are there, and you have to go buy the items to lug back home and not use.

  When we first got there, there was no toilet paper or paper towels. Someone brought a bag to stock the house within minutes of me informing them. I appreciate that. We had to buy dishwasher detergent to be able to run the dishwasher.

  The fridge kept overheating. We had to put all of our stuff into the ice chest and go buy ice because everything was warm. They were going to have someone come and check out the fridge, and no-one ever came. We ended up resetting the fridge after a little research. it never got completely cold or frozen as one would expect. but we made due.

  All in all, it was a good house for our large group and kiddos aging 1-14yo.

  -As is standard in the vacation rental industry, the owner provides a starter amount of toiletries and other essentials, once that amount is out, it's typical for the guest to purchase more supplies. We were happy to promptly bring you extra supplies when needed.
  -Pool towels and pool toys are not provided due to frequent theft and the associated costs. This information is accurately stated in the listing.
  -We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the refrigerator. We contacted a service technician immediately, but their first available appointment was on Monday, after your departure. The issue is currently being addressed.

• Needs some work

  The home was beautiful on the inside although there was no extra linen there was no shampoo conditioner and body wash as described in the ad. But the inside was beautiful the outside needs a lot of work there are weeds everywhere there is a old broken water heater that is sitting outside in the front of the home. The back of the home there were bricks all on the side of the house we could not go up to the upper deck due to a hole in the roof and there was a visible hole in the bottom like someone had fallin through it and there were cigarettes much everything. So it was a good experience but a little disappointing though.
