  This property was everything my family expected and more. The host was quick to reply if needed and even accommodated our early arrival in Phoenix. No complaints. We will definitely look to stay here again on the next trip.

  Beautiful, clean home, we had a wonderful time staying here with the kids! They loved the pool and outdoor swing-set/ slide, and provided indoor toys to play with as well! House had all we needed as far as blankets, pillows, towels, and kitchenware. Would stay again!

• Safety issues and disappointing customer service

  We were traveling to Phoenix as a group of families with small kids- 7 and 6- and two 13 year olds. We were attracted to the great kid friendly features of this house. A gated pool, a swing seat, and a large outdoor space. Unfortunately there were serious safety issues at this property that (luckily only) resulted in damage to our car, but could have seriously injured our children. Our first morning at the property a basketball hoop in the drive way was not filled with a weighting substance and fell on our car, leaving a large dent. Thank god it did not fall on one of our kids.

  Unfortunately this is not the only safety issue we noticed during our stay. There was also an unattached vertical bookshelf in the bedroom that could also cause grievous harm to a small child. A bench in the front of the house contains broken slats. The glass topped table in the patio was very uneven and needed a shim to keep it from wobbling severely. The wobble on the table caused a glass to fall off the table and shatter on the patio. However, there was no broom with which to sweep up the glass. Another site of concern was the railing bases in the pool itself. There is no railing attached, but the bases protrude up in the water and are a tripping hazard, at best, especially for children and elders. At worst someone could cut themselves or even impale themselves on those exposed bases. There should at least be caution signs or something to alert guests to the presence of those exposed bases. Overall there were many safety issues in the house that resulted from a lack of thorough set up, care, and management.

  While the safety issues are of chief concern for us, we also were alarmed at the terrible customer service the Evolve property management team provided us regarding the damage to our car. They refuse to take responsibility or offer us any compensation, even though the basketball hoop fell because of their negligence and poor set up of the property. We are now left holding the cost of this repair to our car. We plan to report Evolve to VRBO and the Better Business Bureau. I do not recommend renting any properties from this company.

• Cozy and fun home

  Stayed for two nights with my mom, spouse, and 1yr old. Was pleasantly surprised to find the home spacious and very child friendly. Really loved the entire experience.
