• Consider Staying Elsewhere for a More Comfortable Experience

  Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to expectations,especially considering the premium price I paid. It simply was not worth the cost.To start, all of the beds were extremely uncomfortable—very firm, like sleeping on a rock. The downstairs bedroom with the attached bathroom also had an annoying, constant squeak that made restful sleep difficult.Several key amenities were either non-functional or poorly maintained. The pool was not heated, the jacuzzi was broken with non-working controls, and the upstairs TV didn’t function (the remote batteries were also dead). Despite what the listing might imply, there is no lake view from the cabin. In addition, the steep hill leading to the property was a hassle every time we came and went.The kitchen was dated and in need of upgrades. Although the stove worked, the refrigerator did not dispense ice, which was an inconvenience, especially during the summer heat.The cabin felt cluttered and outdated, with random, mismatched furniture scattered throughout the rooms. It lacked the polish, comfort, and quality you would expect from a higher-end rental.On a more positive note, the sauna and steam room were functional, and the location itself was decent. However, those few highlights did not justify the cost of the stay. Overall, my experience was mediocre at best. I would not return and would recommend looking elsewhere for a better value.

The pool is heated daily from 9 am–9 pm, and I can adjust the temperature remotely if notified. The jacuzzi is functional, though the jets may take a moment to activate. The noise in the downstairs bedroom may have come from the circulation fan, which can be turned off via the thermostat, or I could’ve done so remotely if informed. I reviewed the listing and did not find any mention of a lake view, and I’ve never advertised the property as high-end, just a simple, cozy cabin. I understand some features may feel dated, but I work hard to keep everything in good working condition. I appreciate your mention of the sauna, steam room, and location. Thank you again for staying, and I wish you the best in your future travels."

  This was our second time here. The place is very clean and comfortable and close to everything we wanted to do. The pool is great after a long day of fishing. We will be back. Thank you!

• It’s ok

  The pool was cold and not heated to the right temperature. The WiFi for the tv in the master bedroom didn’t work it wouldn’t connect. The bathroom door in the master bedroom is hard to close. That’s a broker handle on one of the kitchen chairs. The hdmi cord in one of the rooms was broken. The kitchen had ants.

  -During your stay, we adjusted the pool temperature above the usual setting to ensure it was comfortable for you. In the winter months, it’s typically set to 84 degrees from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
  -Regarding the TV Wifi password, it was entered after we realized it was missing, possibly due to a power outage. However, we have the password printed on the refrigerator for easy access.
  -The pest concern was promptly addressed, and we have taken additional measures to ensure the issue remains under control.
  -The HDMI cable has been replaced. We also keep an extra cable in the drawer for convenience. Moving forward, we’ll work closely with our team to ensure these details are checked in advance.
  We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and hope to have the opportunity to host you again for an even better experience.

• Just a getaway in the woods and snow!

  This is our 2nd time staying at this place. It's very nice neighborhood and quiet. We love the jacuzzi and infoor pool. Andrew has been a great host both times, he answered my texts right away . Thank you for everything and hope to stay there again soon.
