  Overall we really enjoyed the location. We did not have any real problems but just a few issues. We loved the security of the location. It was very peaceful and relaxing. the view of the water and forest beyond was great. we had no noise issues with neighbors or surrounding housing. The amenities were great and very comfortable. The pool alarm would have been nice to know about as it was very annoying. I understand the need for it but it was difficult to always remember about it. The pool towels were great. Loved the screens in pool. it was not as warm as we thought it would be for paying for the heated pool and we could not find any way to increase the temp. But the hot tub worked great and was well heated.There were partial rolls of Toilet paper provided. I understand this is not a hotel but it would have been nice if they were full rolls. It also took a while to find the washcloths and towels for the restrooms. They were all tucked into the linen closet in on of the bathrooms. Would have been nice to know where to look.I agree with previous reviews that it was a little dated. the only thing i really noticed was the missing tile in the shower and the moldy caulking along the bottom of the shower door. We did have a an issue with the A/C. We set it at 73 and it constantly rest itself to 69. This is interesting as the instructions specifically state to not set the temp below 70 degrees.i still would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

• Sundown Villa @ High Groves in Clermont, FL

  We enjoyed every single moment of our 9 day stay at the Sundown Villa. It was beautiful and exactly as described in the listing. It was updated with modern decor and came with the necessities until we could make a quick grocery store run. The hot tub and pool were loved and enjoyed by all. Our kids were in the pool every second they were not at a theme park or asleep. We enjoyed the beautiful wildlife throughout the days and evening; from the four *2-3ft alligators, several turtles, cranes, lizards, flamingo, fish, and frogs. The home was conveniently located to shopping, the interstate, and quickly accessible to and from theme parks and only a 1 1/2 drive to several different choices of beaches like Clearwater, Cocoa, and Treasure Island. We’ve stayed in the High Groves community once before a couple years ago. This time around was by far the best with the home, heated pool and hot tub, and gorgeous views!! We will have the Florida blues until our return!

  Quiet neighborhood that had plenty of pool, shower and hand towels, as well as washcloths for our group of 6. Plenty of books to read ("The Holiday" was great and fitting for the week). All the amenities you could want to cook your own meals and a great view out back with birds, turtles and alligators to watch throughout the day. We brought extra toilet paper, trash bags, laundry soap, hand soap, dishwasher tabs, paper towels and toiletries knowing that only a small amount is supplied for our week stay. We did pay for pool heat which was great in the spa after a long day at the parks or for chilly nights. Overall great experience for our family! Would recommend to anyone.

  Enjoyed the house. Pool was great and, so was the location. It was convenient having a Walmart so close. The house was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.
