  Beautiful updated home with wonderful outdoor area. Spent lots of time in the pool and it's a quick drive to beautiful Pensacola. Would have liked a little more seating indoors for 8 people, but the outside area more than made up for it. Thank you for the opportunity to share in your home and the experience for our family gathering!

• Great place to stay

  Having the pool to ourselves all week was amazing. Used the outdoor sitting area and the grill several nights but the pool was daily.

  The stay was unsatisfactory. On the plus side, when we arrived, the house was clean, and everything appeared to be in order. One of the television remotes was missing The issues began on Tuesday. The Kitchen sink failed. We waited all day (no family activities that day) for the plumber who showed up after he got off work. On Wednesday, the refrigerator failed. We lost almost all of our refrigerated food. We waited all day (no family activities that day either) for the appliance repair person. The refrigerator could not be repaired that day. The homeowner delivered a new refrigerator that evening and stayed late to install it but it was too late to save about 700.00 in food, and we had to eat out that night – with a family of 10 (we got fast food for around 100.00). On some side notes – be aware that the mosquitoes are HORRIBLE! The more important issue is the pool coating – it has deteriorated and is also so abrasive that it tore up everyone's feet who swam for any length of time. Another thing to consider is that there is no handrail going down the steps. Also, note that the shallow area is extremely limited, so if children need to play in the shallow part of the pool, it’s probably too small for that. It is convenient for local shopping and groceries, but not the beach. The neighborhood is a typical rental home/apartment neighborhood - not necessarily a vacation rental neighborhood. The owners stated they would make it right for us at the end but did not. Risky stay!

  - We're glad to hear the home was clean upon arrival. We quickly shipped a remote when you notified one was missing.
  - The kitchen sink and refrigerator were both working prior to your stay, but once alerted to the issues, we acted immediately, coordinating repairs, personally purchasing and installing a new faucet and fridge the same day, and we also refunded you the cost of your lost food.
  - No one was asked to wait at the home, but we understand the disruption and appreciate your patience while we resolved the issues.
  - The pool is a highlight for many guests, and vey much enjoyed. We are happy to look into your thoughts on it.
  - We are local to and the bay beaches by 12 minutes so mosquitoes can be present in the area due to the climate. we encourage guests to use repellent.

  The property was very nice and clean we truly enjoyed our stay there. The kids loved the pool. And the host was so nice and always responded to ever message in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend this home.
