Haines City Home w/ Lanai: 15 Mi to Legoland!

  Overall we made the stay enjoyable… close to a lot of places. We were visiting legoland and it was about a 15 min drive. We loved that. Now on the other hand, the place was not dirty but you can tell no one had cleaned it before we came and if they did, they did a horrible job. Very disappointing. Weave hair was outside on the ground by the pool, trash was swept in a pile and left by the pool. Candy paper on the ground by the pool. Trash cans outside were overflowing from the last guest and left for us to be responsible for. The cans were so full we could hardly put our own trash inside. We had to wait to use the trash because it didn’t come until two days after we got there. I realize trash comes once a week but emptying the last guest’s trash was unacceptable. There were not enough bath cloths to shower for everyone. We had to do laundry to even shower. Then there was no complimentary anything. Coffee maker, no filter. No salt, no pepper, no cutting boards, barely any bathroom tissue… had to purchase more of that as well. The second day to be exact. To be a home away from home, we had to purchase EVERYTHING. We spent more money just trying to supply the house for miscellaneous things just to make it comfortable for our stay.
