  Overall the place was clean and tidy, parts of it seemed recently remodeled. There were 5 cameras around the outside, and two of them had flood lights set to motion sensors, that went on and off all night long. This illuminated both bedrooms even with the curtains closed. The livinng/dining room area also featured motion sensor lights that you cannot turn off. These were super bright LED pocket lights, and quite harsh on the eyes at night. The thermostat was a nest smart thermostat, and we were unable to change the temperature, each night overnight this would automatically set to 77 degrees! After messaging the host they told me to tap it and it could be adjusted but this was not the case. After contatcing the host about this it was magically (likely remotely) adjusted back to 68 or 69, this happened twice...only and right after contacting the host about a very hot house. My wife, friends and I were not able to get a goods night rest due to the flood lights, and the temperature in the house. amenities were nice, pool was clean, appliances seemed new, coffee was stocked, however there were some exposed wires on the ceiling outside and outlets/switches inside the house. Host was quick to reply but our concerns with the flood lights and the thermostat were never resolved.

  - We’re sorry to hear the motion-activated lights and thermostat settings impacted your comfort. The exterior floodlights are tied to security cameras for safety, and one of them is motion-sensitive near the front entrance. We understand how this could be disruptive and are currently reviewing options to better manage brightness and motion sensitivity. We also advised closing the shutters at night to minimize light exposure—shutters are installed on all windows and glass doors for this purpose.
  - The smart thermostat is designed to be adjustable from the device itself, but we’re sorry if that wasn't the case during your stay. As noted, we remotely adjusted the temperature to your preference after being contacted.
  - The home was left in a condition that required additional cleaning and replacement of some items.
  - The presence of multiple oversized vehicles, including a trailer, exceeded the property's parking guidelines and led to neighbor concerns.
  We appreciate your feedback and are always working to create a better experience for future guests.
