• Not clean, bugs and not enough TP

  This place is not clean. There is mildew in the bathrooms. This place is basically a 2-star motel. If you’re ok with a 2-star motel then this is your place. Do not be fooled by the nice photos.

  When we arrived I found a couple of dead bugs (not tiny bugs either, fairly decent size beetles / roaches) in the kitchen. I didn’t think much of it but then found a couple of live small bugs crawling around in the kitchen. They were small so I killed them and did not mention to the property manager.

  When we got back the following night after a full day at Universal we found a few living beetles & small bugs crawling around and even in the kitchen sink. I contacted Evolve immediately and they were finally able to get pest control to come after two days of efforts from the Evolve team to get pest control to spray. The bugs were much less after the spraying but we still found a few more over the next few days.

  This place needs a deep clean, all baseboards need to be completely sealed (this is where the bugs would come in, under the floor baseboards), and fresh paint for the baseboards, and caulking and paint in the bathroom to cover the mildew in the bathroom floors near the bathtubs. I hated that my wife would get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night to hear bugs crawling around the floor.

  This place also doesn’t provide enough TP or paper towels. We had to buy more TP. I know an earlier review complained about the lack of TP and the response was a “starter pack” is provided, but come on, how hard is it to provide a few more rolls so guests are not inconvenienced to go out and buy more?

  We have stayed in dozens of short term rentals over the years and in humid places like HI and Orlando and I have never had so may issues with bugs. This is by far the worst experience we have had with a short term rental. The Evolve team were great to work with and did there best to get pest control to spray but the owner needs to deep clean and freshen up this condo.

  I would not stay at this place again. We couldn’t wait to get out.

  Following are pros and cons:

  Pros - beautiful views, 15-20 min to Universal Parks and 10-15 to Disney World Parks, enough beds for 6 people.

  Cons - bugs, not clean, not enough TP, TV’s are tiny (not a big issue since we were not there much at night), primary bed not comfortable, feel

  And look of a 2-star motel - old furniture (wicker?), and weird wraps for the furniture - does not look like the pictures.

  Host was great, place was clean and exactly as pictured. Perfect location to see both Disney and Universal.

• Barely Acceptable

  This condo was Not as described, and did NOT look like the photos... We arrived to this condo, realizing there was NO TP in either bathroom, NO paper towels.. There was only 1 wash rag, 1 hand towel and 2 SMALL bath towels in the primary bathroom, and only 1 hand towel and 1 Small bath towel in the twin bed bathroom. (1 towel on each bunk in the hallway).. These SO CALLED towels were very shotty and looked, felt like cleaning towels. There was mold in the bathrooms, the outdoor cushions were ripped beyond repair, the shower gel holder fell off the wall and broke the 1st time we attempted to use it. There were holes in the wall where a mirror had once hung in the primary bedroom, and was now propped against the wall. There was a drawer panel in the kitchen cabinet sink area missing, and the screens on the decks were ripped beyond repair and the floors were dirty.....VERY disappointing!! we stay at VRBO's regularly while vacationing and have never experienced this poor quality of stay..This owner needs to truly step up their "game".

  This place was amazing!!! Very clean and spacious!!! Had all of the amenities that we were looking for! 2 pools, hot tub, and a little pool for the children! We had 2 balconies, one in the front of the condo and one in the back! The view from the balcony in the living room was amazing!! It over looked the lack and was perfect to watch the sun rise!! Host was easy to communicate with! Family friendly, our little man loved it! Perfect location not too far from Disney, Universal, stores, even the beach!!! We will definitely be back!

  Perfect location for all things Theme Park. We had a wonderful stay. Check-in and Check-out process was very easy. All necessary items were provided in the apartment (including soap, tabs for the dish washer and tide). Some things need a little touch up (outdoor cushions, kitchen ), but overall very nice apartment with beautiful view!
