  We have stayed at the Beach Colony several times, but never experienced satisfaction as we did at this condo. It was immaculately cleaned and EVERYTHING was perfect. The thoughts that went into the guest experience was nothing short of extraordinary!! The balcony has the perfect set up for meals and relaxation. Location doesn't get any better than BC. We were provided all the beach equipment that most people must rent for around $60 a day, and that alone saved us hundreds of dollars! We found the host, Leslie, to be AMAZING!! She was very knowledgeable about the area and offered local recommendations such as the new Bushwhacker Landing restaurant on the bay. It was delicious and a fun treat for the family. We will always request this condo when coming three times a year to vacation in Perdido Key!

  We had a wonderful stay in this unit. The views from the balcony were incredible, we ate every meal sitting out on the patio soaking it in. The unit was fully stocked with several thoughtful touches for toiletries as well as games and beach reads for us to enjoy. The unit was clean and well furnished. We had a great time here!

• Family fun

  My family loved this spacious condo so much! Everything was very clean and new! We all enjoyed meals on the balcony watching the waves crash! Football on the big screen and books for the beach were a nice touch. The surprise is that we didn't have to buy a single household item like dish pods. All of that is provided in including tons of spices, coffee, waters, expensive bathroom hospitality itmes were also much appreciated!! Things you just do not see in other rentals were certainly provided, and much appreciated by our group! Leslie was easy to get ahold of within seconds!! She left us pool/beach items and loaned us a beach wagon! We were also granted an early checkin with no additional fees. Nice restaurants in walking distance. Ask Leslie for a local list like she sent to me!!

  I am not sure if this property has a new manager or a new cleaner, but our experience was nothing like the other reviews. First, we requested an early check-in and were told we would get one. After following up about that, no further communication was given to us and did not get one. As we were outside the door waiting for the cleaner to finish, a lady with a baby on her hip walked in. When she walked out she told us "he" the cleaner was coming soon and we could go in after, but the towels were still in the dryer, so we would have to handle those. There were enough towels and wash clothes, but not hand towels. Upon entering the unit, there were clean dishes left in the dishwasher for us to put up. There was trash left under furniture in one bedroom, and there was a shower with hair on the walls and shaved hair behind the faucet (we have pictures of all this). One person in our party had to clean just to stay in that room and use that bathroom. There were no trash bags left (not even in the can), there was 1 laundry pod, and one dishwasher pod. There were absolutely no bathroom toiletries, except hand soap on the counters, no spa items like shampoo or body wash, as mentioned in previous reviews. Just about every dish we took out of the cabinets had some sort of leftover food or junk on them. We would wash any dish before we used it at all. One bed had hair and specs of trash under the covers on the sheets. The carpet in the unit could certainly use a replacing or major cleaning, and the rug in the living room needs replacing, as well. We were all just very disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit and even wore shoes the entire time we were there. It just felt dirty. Now, that all that has been said on to the good, which there was some. The balcony is so large and nice seating. The view is beautiful and peaceful. You do hear a good deal of noise from the pools on the balcony and in the unit, but it didn't bother us much. If you don't like hearing kids playing, maybe get another unit. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, but needs a large non-stick skillet for sure. Everything worked well as far as appliances and washer and dryer. There was no hair dryer in the unit, nor was there a steamer (as stated in the listing) or an iron. We needed these, so that was unfortunate, as well. The amount of beach chairs and beach towels was great. Although we had fun together there, we would not come back unless the unit is cleaned very, very deeply.

  10 out of 10 recommend!!! Condo 10 Host 1000 One of the best rentals I have ever visited in Perdido Key. It was spotless clean and smelled literally like fresh air. Too many thoughtful touches to type our, but they are all appreciated!! Especially the beach "closet" which is packed with mice beach gear. We didn't have to rent or buy a single thing. Leslie!!!!!! The host of this Beach Colony condo is worth a million!! I would be happy to stay in any beach condo this young lady manages because she goes above and beyond!
