  We had a wonderful time in Maui and the condo was perfectly located in Kihei. I really appreciated how quickly the owner responded and dealt with a small issue we had with the washer and went above and beyond to make the two twin beds in the second bedroom into a king. The condo had everything we needed and had a cozy feeling that we felt comfortable relaxing in.

  There was roof construction going on while we were there but all of the workers were kind and courteous. A plus for us was the palm tree trimmers were there one morning and that was fascinating to watch.

  The condo complex has beautiful grounds and an amazing view of the ocean. Air conditioning was an added bonus, not something you see often in condos in Hawaii. Also we really appreciated the brand new beach chairs and umbrellas.

  All and all, I would go back tomorrow if I could. Wonderful place to stay.

  The only suggestion I would have would be to add another chair to the living room and maybe freshen it up with new paint.

• Lovely condo, amazing view

  First time we stayed on this property and we will definitely come back. Condo was lovely with great view and within walking distance to the beach. Could use some updating, that being said everything worked and was easy to find.Overlooks the pool, and had beautiful sunset views!

• Amazing view!

  This property was so beautiful! The view of the sunset was breathtaking. Having the view of the pool and hot tub was so pretty. The room was spacious for us. This was a girl's trip for us and everyone had enough room and loved this property. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again!

  We had a great stay at the Kamaole Sands Resort. The location really can’t be beat, with a short walk across the street to the beautiful Kam III beach. On the border of Wailea and Kihei, you’ll have a short drive to some of the most beautiful beaches in Hawaii. The resort itself was great, very tropical, with lush grounds and a wonderful pool area. The condo itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Split A/C units made sleeping more comfortable. Just a note for people looking to book, we’ve been traveling to Hawaii with our family for over 10 years, and we’ve been lucky to have beach gear that’s been well-stocked and thought out. From nice chairs to snorkeling gear and coolers. This was, by far, the most depleting stock of beach equipment. There were chairs but very broken down. A beat up boogie board, and an umbrella. I realize this is an added bonus and not to be expected, but you might consider renting those items from the resort and think about bringing your own collapsable cooler (we did, luckily). As some other reviews have mentioned, the unit could use some tlc (a few little things broken down, dated, or not working well) and a deep cleaning, but didn’t take away from our experience. Communication with the property contact was great, she was super responsive. 5 stars overall.
