• What a beautiful view to wake up to!

  We just returned home from our week-long stay in the Ocean Front Penthouse at Kahana Villas. We were able to check in early and check out an hour later without additional fees. Charles, our host, responded to my numerous inquiries and was very helpful. Our unit was very clean, spacious, quiet, and well-stocked with everyday needs, including beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, and pool noodles. The front bedroom features a large window that overlooks the sea and the island of Lanai.

  There are restaurants, shops, and stores within walking distance. Just across the street is a restaurant called Captain Jack's. I have never been to a restaurant where my meals were delivered so quickly! We went for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was consistently delicious, and the view was lovely.

  Unfortunately, on the day of a wedding we attended, the elevator stopped working, and Terminex came to spray the building. Climbing to the 6th floor was not fun. Thankfully, it was repaired later in the afternoon. We were told to stay out of our units for an hour for the treatment, but it ended up being closer to 3. Not ideal.

  Although the building may be older, we still enjoyed our stay. The condo itself was clean, but the stairwells and elevator could use some attention.

• Amazing views

  The communications were great, check in was a breeze, parking was never a problem.the unit was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed (we also found binoculars in the living room so we could zoom in on the whales). The views of the ocean made for an enjoyable time watching surfers, snorkelers, walkers, and whales.

• Great stay with a few quirks

  Amazing property and area for a vacation. Pool was great and parking was a breeze. Only a few things that made our stay a bit irritating ; our sheets had sand on them or “grains” of something, there were small ants/bugs crawling on the kitchen counters and night stand, the dining room table was wobbly and the water for the shower was either super hot or freezing, I wasn’t sure if this was from the shower nob or the water heater needing to be turned up.A lot of positives on this place! There were 4 beach chairs, pool noodles and beach towels were provided. Cable services on the tv, laundry in the unit and of course an amazing view from the lanai. Other than that, Charles was responsive and welcoming via text and answered any questions about the property and our stay. Would and WILL be contacting them again to stay another time.
