Comfortable, relaxing getaway
5/5 Property was great. Good parking, easy access. Really like the split design so that if you didn't want to be involved in family group activities or conversation, you could go downstairs and watch TV, relax, etc., on your own. Great hot tub. Nice quiet area. We had a lovely fall weekend!

Snowflake cabin
4/5 The cabin was nice, but it had no air conditioning. The ceiling fans just did not cool the place. It was very hard to sleep at night with the heat. The cabin was close to everything, which made it very convenient.

Jeanne, while we appreciate the 4-star review, the homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:
Owner's response: "Jeanne, We work hard to provide a comfortable place for our guests to stay. We appreciate that you mentioned that the cabin was nice and close to everything so it was a convenient location.
However, we do not list AC (nor have we ever had it listed) as one of the amenities that we provide for our guests anywhere on our home description.
We do provide wonderful window fans with a temp control feature and they are amazing and help keep things very cool and comfortable. Combined with the ceiling fans, it typically does a great job of circulating the air so that it doesn't get too warm or stagnant.
As much as wish we could control unseasonably warm weather, that's beyond our pay grade 🙂
We're sorry that this one complaint completely beyond our control kept you from giving us a 5-star review.
