For the most part we enjoyed our stay at this cabin. WiFi was a nightmare buy hey, you are in a cabin in the woods. We came to hike the national trails but the weather was bad the whole time. At one point we had a weather alert to take cover. A tornado that was spotted in the area. It cleared and we were able to go out for a little while. We were able to visit the cave which was a very nice one hour tour. All in all the cabin was great, stocked with everything you will need if you wanted to just be indoors. There was a crossword book at the cabin that people filled out and left a brief description of their stay. That was cool and we filled in a couple of places while we fixed one of the puzzles at the cabin. Side note most of the pieces were there, some missing. ☺️

We loved how secluded it was and relaxing. Also met the owner who is very nice and down to earth as well.
The cabin had everything we needed that they provided. We were away from everyone, which was what we needed. A nice hike to the pond and the corn hole provided at the Barn. A nice fire pit too. The last night we used the Jacuzzi tub which ended the trip on a wonderful note. TV was hit or miss on working, we watched a few things but we were there to get away, we have tv at home. Planned to return in the summer with the grandkids.
Took the kids to the indoor water park in French Lick for a couple days over new years, and we stayed at this cabin. Kids loved it, to include the huge jet tub, and the outdoor playground, and barn with games! We were comfortable and cozy. Everyone had their own bed, which is hard sometimes with 3 kids. Everything was spotless, with the exception of a lot of Asian lady beetles….dead and alive. We understand this happens in old cabins, and just kept tossing the living ones outside. Unfortunately the beetles have a smell that I just couldn’t stop smelling, but it was ignored mostly. We really enjoyed our stay and the kids have already asked to go back.
