  • Quaint Lake Cottage Escape

    5/5

My husband and I spent 6 nights at this peaceful retreat. The one floor cottage was charmingly decorated, supplied well, and had beautiful scenic views. The water on the lake was still and glistened in the sunlight. Swans and ducks and other birds frequently made visits while we enjoyed the comfortable deck. Neighbors were friendly and inviting. The kitchen was convenient to both cook a sit down meal or grab a sandwich at the counter. The large refrigerator easily handled our groceries we purchased at the nearby Meijers. We also enjoyed supplied DVD movie choices. Great getaway to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and get some rest and relax!

  • Beautiful Weekend Stay

    5/5

This property was so cute! The decorating was adorable, and the lake view was so beautiful! It was my sister's bachelorette trip, and she wanted a short, cozy weekend getaway, so this was the perfect spot for it. There were 6 of us in total, and nobody had an issue with sleeping arrangements. The VRBO was super cozy and nice, and the lake view was exactly what we were looking for. When we went into town, everyone was so nice and there were lots of cute shops and small businesses! Also, the host responded promptly to all questions and was very kind and helpful!

  • Cutest lake house ever!

    5/5

Needed a get away from caregiving and this spot was perfect. Home was cozy and comfortable. Loved all the decorating details and wood accents. Highly recommend!

  • Lakefront in Jackson

    4/5

The property was lovely, with a beautiful view of a lake. It has comfortable beds and furniture, enough cookware and utensils, the appliances were all easy to work. Parking is across the street, which was a bit confusing initially, but the property manager was quick to confirm that this was the case. There were nice touches such as board games, cards in a drawer, and blankets/throws. And there are plenty of nearby major stores to get groceries and other things that you may need.

My only complaint is that it wasn't prepped to welcome guests. There were some spiders/spider webs (nothing major, but definitely had to get rid of them for my family), no coffee or tea, no towels laid out (we had to search for them and figure out which were decorative), backporch was not swept of spiders/spiderwebs, bird droppings, and leaves. It was amazing on the backporch and we spent a lot of time out there, but we had to brush off debris before we could sit the first day, and purchase candles to keep away the bugs/mosquitos at night. There are logs for the firepit, but no kindling or matches.

Nevertheless, I still recommend the property, it met our needs and I would stay again.
