  Very clean and well appointed. Everything was comfortable and really everything we could have hoped for. We brought in our food and clothes and were all set. Plenty of parking and plenty of room. It was so quiet and peaceful there. Loved the Fire Pit area! Would definitely stay there again.

• Unhelpful owner, missing listed amenity

  The house is nice, and is mostly accurately represented by the photos and written description. The location is great, in a quiet neighborhood but just five minutes drive to the center of town. When we made our reservation, it listed a gas grill as a provided amenity, but in fact there was no grill of any kind on the premises - disappointing for our July visit. There were food scraps in the kitchen sink when we arrived, and the main bedroom bed was not made up properly. When we emailed the owner to let him know about these issues, he was dismissive, replying "do not tell me the property was not clean because I have inspected and verified it was spotless". The front door has a chime which sounds when it opens. It's a nice security feature, but the sensor is hyper-sensitive, causing it to chime in strong wind gusts, including in the middle of the night, and even from the sound of a fireworks show at the ski area a mile away. Note that the sunroom windows don't open, so it gets pretty warm in the daytime in summer.

  To clarify, the home does have air conditioning to ensure comfort during warmer months. Regarding the grill, we’ve reviewed the listing and confirmed that a gas grill is neither included in the description nor shown in any of the property photos. It’s possible there was a misunderstanding, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience that may have caused.
  
  As for cleanliness, our cleaning team is supervised, and the property was personally inspected the day before your arrival. We always strive to uphold high standards and take all comments seriously. If anything was missed, we certainly apologize and would have welcomed the chance to address it during your stay.

  We loved the little mountain chalet!! Very cute roomy and great wildlife !! Will definitely try to get away again before the season is over !!
