  The place was not light and bright as in the picture. Bathroom was freezing cold due to continues air conditioning. I kept the bathroom door closed and the main room was fine. I found the exposed cement floor to be unappealing as it was very rough. The freezer was all iced up and dripping water from it. TV channel selection was terrible IMO. I got what I paid for. The bed was fine. Street noise wasn't bad. Nice area. I felt safe and secure. Kitchen area was nice and clean. I enjoyed the coffee maker. I might even stay there again because of the competitive price and convenient location. Need brighter lighting over bed and kitchen area. Need wall to floor covering IMO.

  Thanks, Kirk, for your feedback. We’re always striving to match guest expectations with the actual experience, and we followed up with the homeowner after reading your review. They wanted to share the following:
  
  - The lighting above the bed is operated by a remote, which may not have been used during your stay.
  - Rugs are placed throughout most of the space to help offset the concrete floors, but we understand that flooring preferences can vary.
  - The A/C is controlled by a remote and can be adjusted to guest comfort; it was in the mid-90s during your visit, so it may have been running more frequently than usual.
  - The freezer has since been defrosted and is no longer leaking.
  - While the TV offers a standard selection of channels, we’ll look into ways to make that clearer in the listing for future guests.

  This property has a lot more potential.....More attention to cleanliness, adding hot water to bathroom sink, cleaning area rugs, assuring blanket on bed, putting WiFi instructions inside property, not requiring guests to carry off their trash, installing weatherstripping around door, exploring noise control for "industrial" fan in bathroom, etc. Positives: location, movie theme, comfortable bed. This place could be a "come back to" property with a little more effort.
