We came down from Colorado to stay the weekend for a memorial type stay. Angel fire is beautiful. Wonderful views, gorgeous sceneries and the food at Morning Star was fire!

This condo was not cleaned or maintained prior to our stay. Dirty dishes, crumbs and grease on counters and coffee table, very dirty floor and stained carpet, clogged shower drain, sheets appeared unchanged from previous tenants, vacuum provided was clogged, washer/dryer was unreliable. This block of condos does NOT have a dumpster like every other. Owner expects you to drive 1/2mi to a community dumpster. We spent an hour cleaning when we first arrived and communication with owner was intermittent at best. We had to get VRBO and property manager involved.Condo and amenities are older, but not a problem for the area or price.Outside of this, we had a great time at Angel Fire skiing and the area is beautiful. We will be back, but will NOT stay in this owner's rentals. We'll obviously have to use a bit more diligence when looking for a place. I'd recommend everyone skipping this place until they get their act together.

Hi David, thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about the issues you encountered and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. The owners would like to address the following:
- The cleaning team has been notified, and a deeper clean is scheduled now that ski season has ended
- The unit is older and, while not yet updated, we typically replace the carpets each season due to heavy wear during winter stays
- We understand the frustration with the trash situation; however, the resort eliminated on-site dumpsters several years ago, and the community disposal site is the only available option
Your feedback has been shared with the property team for further review. We're glad to hear you enjoyed your time at Angel Fire, and we will use your comments to improve for future guests.
While conveniently located near to the Angel Fire Resort, the property looked and felt dirty. Yellowish water marks run down all walls in both bathrooms. There was mildew along the edge of the bathroom sink. There were cobwebs. The master bath light flickered constantly. We will not be staying again. If you do, take cleaning supplies and a black light.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and your comments have been passed along to the owner for continued improvement.
New Furniture and mattresses needed. Floor was gritty. All kinds of extra items stuffed in closets. Was close to slopes so that is a huge plus

Hi Dwayne, we're glad you enjoyed being so close to the slopes! We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
– The condo was built in the ‘80s, like most in the area, and we accurately represent its condition in our professional listing photos, including the furniture. We’ve priced the property accordingly to offer great value for guests.
– Our dedicated cleaners do a thorough job preparing for guests between each stay, but in a mountain setting, some dirt may get tracked in. We've checked in with the cleaning team to ensure close attention to the floors moving forward.
– Extra towels and linens are stored in the closet for turnovers, as we need to keep them on hand. It's important to note that mattress preferences can vary between guests.
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.
Enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and location is perfect for those who want to be within walking distance of the lifts. Would definitely stay again!
