  It started off good until the evening. The lights on the living room ceiling fans flickered and even strobed at times so we had to turn them off, which made the house pretty dark. The living room TV would not go past the initial setup menu, therefore couldn’t watch anything. We reached out to the property manager to let her know the issue. She didn’t know how to correct it so she was going to ask someone else what we could do. She didn’t ever get back to us and when I asked her if she had any luck on what to do about the TV, she said, “No, and I’m not in town right now.” She must have been overwhelmed with too many things because she never made another offer to remedy the issue. The mattress in one of the upstairs bedrooms is an air mattress that you inflate/deflate according to what you prefer. Just uncomfortable altogether. The house could have been cleaner. The floors weren’t clean and there was hair in the bathroom floors. The house itself is a beautiful place. It has potential to be a very comfortable place, just needs better lighting and a more helpful host.

• Pretty Property, Horrible Management.

  Upon arrival, we had an immediate issue with the keyless entry. The passcode given was invalid.

  We called immediately and got it squared away.

  After entering the house, we immediately noticed a terrible smell that seemed to be coming from the master bedroom.

  We were unsure if this was a dead animal or a severe sewage issue. Regardless, the smell stayed during our entire visit.

  We opened all the windows hoping to air it out so we could better tolerate the stench.

  While opening the windows and doors, we noticed the door from the master to the patio was locked and required a key.

  We also noticed the property did not have “Central A/C” even though it was advertised under “Amenities” and “The Property”

  We reached out about both the key for the patio and the Central A/C.

  We were told there is no A/C (even though it was advertised) and that they would get us the key to the patio.. to which we never received.

  The following night we had family over for dinner from around 5 to 8ish. ALL family left before dark.

  At an unprofessionally late hour, around 10:00pm, we received a rude message from the property management with a picture attached from earlier in the evening.

  She reminded us how many people were in our booking and wanted to know why there were too many cars parked out front. She proceeded to tell us how it was “disturbing” that people had parked on the grass.. *There was not a grassy area in the parking vicinity.*

  What is actually “disturbing” is my family being spied on during our vacation.

  Overall, it is a very pretty property.

  If the odor and management can BOTH be corrected and less invasive, it would be a very nice place to stay.
