This rental felt like a real home with nice decor and comfortable furniture throughout the small house. We spent a lot of time on the patio in the cool evenings! It was a little hard to find upon arrival, but once we got settled we really enjoyed being able to walk less than a mile to the old town. Highly recommended!

A great place that is as advertised. Located in a nice neighborhood just a short distance from the plaza, the place is at the end of an alleyway; don't be deterred when you first turn in and wonder if you are in the right spot. You park at the end of the alley, walk around the front unit (the guys who live there are very nice) and arrive in the little courtyard you see in the pictures. The place inside is very clean and cozy. It was my wife and I and our two teenage sons, and we fit fine. (note that bed were a full and a queen, I think. We are not We went to the ski slopes each day, so we just a nice place to eat some takeout food and sleep. If you're looking for a place to really hang out with a family, you might want more space. The place is very well stocked, both in the kitchen and bathroom. A full-size washer dryer was nice for us given that we had ski gear to wash.

Adorable casita with thoughtful features.
Washer and dryer were a really welcome amenity and quiet and friendly neighbors in the plaza.
Google had a hard time routing us to the driveway- but after a couple ins/outs we had it down.
Nice separation of space for our group (me, two young kids and my dad)
Would stay again!

The house is in a great location for walking to main attractions, as noted by others; just over .5 miles to the Plaza and Canyon Road. It is an older structure that has been nicely upgraded, and is well equipped. Pictures accurate. The best feature was the comfortable recliner couch. The kitchen and bath lack counter space but that should be expected in a 550 sq ft casita. This leads to the main issue: the house is too small for four adults. It is best for two adults who want separate bedrooms or a couple with 1-2 children. It also should be noted that the only access to the bathroom is through the bedrooms. There is space for one vehicle. Off-street parking for a second is not practical since there is no street parking on that block of Galisteo. The property setting itself is not idea since the short alley is lined with vehicles, including a step-van that has to be maneuvered around to park up close to a wall. These issues aside, I would recommend for 2-3 people wanting a walkable location and fully equipped, upgraded house with a comfortable couch.
