• Santa Fe Escape

  We had a great time in Santa Fe and staying this studio was part of that. It was nice to be able to walk to the downtown area and then return to the shaded and cool patio. The area was very quiet and Jim was a great host.

• Cons out weighed pros, we left early

  Truth in advertising is lacking. Pros: a very nice host, a great location, and an artful "handcrafted vibe" with an adjacent courtyard. We felt welcomed with our petCons: One expects a bathroom. There isn't one.There is a wall not in the photo, along the bedside, that has a narrow sink, a narrow WC closet, and a small shower stall. If you are tall or have any physical restraints, it is difficult to go in, sit without leaving the door open at first, and rise without hand rails. No bending or elbows in the shower. Summer cooling was via a swamp cooler and fan, keeping it in range, but not able to reach where the bed is. Might be fine for some, but advance notice should be made.

The bathroom area is compact, including both the toilet and shower, which works well for many but may not be ideal for those who need more space. We always suggest reviewing the photos and reaching out with any questions about accessibility.
  - Cooling in the summer is provided by a swamp cooler and a fan, which helps keep the space comfortable, though airflow can vary in different parts of the room. Guests who are sensitive to heat may want to confirm the setup ahead of time.

  Stayed for two nights. The property has charming decor and is comfortably laid out. It has everything you need. We enjoyed the common courtyard at night and in the morning. Our dog loved it. The host is engaging, informative and friendly but not overbearing in any way. Thank you Jim for a memorable stay.

• Two weeks in Santa Fe

  My husband and I stayed in this lovely studio centrally located within a short walk to the plaza. Our host was friendly and kind. We used the communal outdoor area every morning while we had our coffee. We were also very fond of the owners cats who sometimes came out to visit with us. We are going back in October and hope to stay here again.
