    My wife, children, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Camp Shady Rest was perfect for us: comfortable, clean, no stress, right on the lake-easy and fun. Excellent value for the great location. There was more than enough space for my wife and me, plus 3 toddlers and a baby. We used the kayak and swam every day. I fished off the dock every morning and it was quiet and peaceful. The enormous lakeside private lawn was great for games, picnics, and just relaxing. My children wanted to stay “forever,” so we are planning a return visit in August or September, and hopefully for an extended stay next summer. The sunsets were perfection…
