2/5 The house itself was ok, it was nice having the fenced in area for the dogs. However, there were multiple issues that made the stay less than ideal. First, the AC didn’t work well and the afternoon and evenings (especially if cooking inside) were uncomfortable. The hot tub did not seem clean, some of the surfaces were slimy and the water had a bad odor. The beds in both rooms were uncomfortable with worn mattresses. Then on our last night when we were getting ready to use the grill, we discovered that at least one propane tank was empty and the other was closed so tightly we couldn’t even open it to check if it worked. So we just gave up and cooked inside. We are a pretty easygoing family and don’t usually leave bad reviews, but our expectations were not met, especially for the price we paid for our stay

From the owner: "Dear Joy, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry your stay didn’t meet expectations. We understand you raised the Ecobee thermostat during the day, which can delay cooling in the afternoon, especially with cooking and frequent door openings for your dogs. Had you reached out, we could have assisted with thermostat adjustments for quicker cooling. Our cleaners drain, clean, and refill the hot tub before each stay; the odor may be from the chlorine used for sanitation. We could have inspected the hot tub promptly if notified. The foam mattresses, recently replaced, may feel less firm than preferred, and we’ll have cleaners inspect and flip them if needed. We apologize for the propane tank issue; contacting us during your stay would have allowed us to resolve it immediately. We value your input and hope you’ll give us another chance for a better experience."
Was a nice little stay
5/5 Enjoyed the hot tub but would not go during a holiday weekend again. Way too busy for such a small town

5/5 Really enjoyed the place and the hot tub. Good relaxation spot. Memorial Day weekend was a bit too busy to enjoy the area but the cabin/trailer was great
