  It was wonderful! The Shepherd Cabin was perfect for our family. We appreciated the large kitchen, eating space & so much nice seating in living area. The things for little ones was much appreciated. The pool was totally the kids favorite & much time was spent there. All the outside activities available were great. The lake being so close for those who wanted to go on the boat was nice, too. Our kids said they would definitely come back. Shan was a perfect host - checking on us & making sure we had everything we needed. We had a really fun time!!!

• Vacation Resort at Lake Texoma

  This property will make you feel like you hit the vacation rental jackpot. It is a mini resort with a beautiful pool, pickleball courts, basketball court, multiple fire pits and seating areas outside, as well as billiards and other game tables inside. The amenities are too numerous to mention and everything is in working order. We have stayed in properties around the world and, without a doubt, this is one of the absolute best. Our family of 13 meets every year at a lake lodge to reconnect and enjoy some outdoor fun time. The owners of this lodge have thought of everything. Our family ranges in age from 10 to 76 and not one of us was ever bored. Some of us were tired — but never bored. Thank you to the owners for your kindness and hospitality and for sharing your beautiful property!

• Beautiful Property

  We rented this house as basically a central location for our family to celebrate my 70th birthday. There was a total of 16 of us for three nights, and the space and amenities could not have been better. We were never even remotely crowded inside the house. The grands are 7, 10, 12, 14, 15 and 20 and they and the adults enjoyed all the games inside when it was rainy or dark (pool table, shuffle board, poker, etc.) and the outside activities (mostly the pool and pickle ball) when the weather was clear. No one had to be entertained by Gramma. Yay!

  We ate all our meals there and everything needed was supplied. The sleeping arrangements were perfect as well, especially loved that each bedroom had it s own bathroom. The owners were on site and very helpful. Everything you could possibly need is supplied . . . including a storm shelter, which was needed while we were there. A tornado warning sent us rushing to the shelter in the middle of the night. There were probably 28 people in it with no space issues.

  We would definitely return. All agreed it was a great experience. A beautiful house and grounds. Loved it.

  This house has everything you need to enjoy time with friends and family! We especially loved the pickleball courts and teepee! The house is very spacious and clean. The host, Shan, was very personable and helpful! Would definitely recommend! 10/10 rating!
