  Our family enjoyed the pool and the location on the lake, but there were some disappointments with the stay. The majority of the furniture by the pool was broken (and there was no furniture on the patio connected to the house), the downstairs bedroom was musty, there were ants throughout the kitchen, limited number of silverware (we ended up having to supplement with disposable utensils) and the provided supplies were generally hit or miss. We expected more based on the listing photos and the price of the rental.

That said, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that’s 100% ready for their stay, so we took your feedback seriously and followed up with the homeowner, who wanted to share the following:
  
  - While we were on-site during your stay to assist with another request, we weren’t made aware of issues like ants, broken furniture, or missing utensils. We wish we’d known so we could have stepped in to help.
  - We provide a variety of household essentials, including paper towels, garbage bags, and dish soap, but we do not stock personal items like shampoo or a hair dryer.
  - We’ve noted your concerns about the musty smell, pest activity, and limited kitchen supplies and are taking a closer look to ensure future guests have a more comfortable experience.
  - Poolside furniture is being evaluated for replacement or repair to bring everything up to standard.

  Rented this property for a long weekend with the family. We had such an amazing time. Plenty of room for everyone. Very clean and well kept property. Lots of history. Dock access for kayaking was awesome. Pool was great on the hot days. Could not have asked for a better time. Hosts are amazing, very responsive and dedicated to ensuring your stay is outstanding. Highly recommended.

• Family Resort Vacay Stay

  This home is very unique. All you need to bring is food and beverages. The outdoor areas of this home are serene...beautiful...and fun. The interior of the home is spacious and cozy. The owner is welcoming....kind and responsive. We hope to visit this home again in the future. Thank you!!
