• Never Stayed at the Property Due to Issues

  Rented this cottage for my daughter's graduation at Lander. My daughter and a friend were going to stay the first night but she sensed an odd smell and decided to leave. The next day when we arrived we noticed the unit had a horrible smell of gas. The stove was left on in the unit and when I contacted the owner, the owner informed me it was due to the cleaning lady. Thank goodness my daughter opted not to stay the first night. She was graduating Lander the next day and had no idea the unit was consumed with a gas leak. Could have been a disaster! Day two of the stay when we arrived for our night stay, we needed to air out the unit for over an hour due to the gas issue. There was also an Infestation of flies in the kitchen, which got into our packaged food. Beds were not cleaned. Dirty Sheets and hair all over in two bedrooms.Bathrooms were not cleaned either. Hair everywhere.I was very upset between the gas leak, lack of cleanliness, and to top it off the dirty sheets. Had to leave to drive home at 11:30pm after a long day because all hotels were booked up due to Lander Graduation. Sent pictures to the service company over a week ago. No response from the owner or evolve the service company.. Still waiting on a response for my refund requested. I was very surprised based on the great reviews. Not sure if this was a cleaning issue gone wrong but it was not rectified.

  - When you reported a gas odor, they immediately responded and walked you through checking the stove knobs. It was determined that one had been inadvertently turned on and was then shut off.
  - You mentioned you would follow up if the smell persisted, but since no further communication was received, they believed the issue had been resolved to your satisfaction.
  - After your departure, the homeowner thoroughly inspected the cottage and confirmed there were no signs of a gas leak. Additionally, no fruit flies or other pest concerns were found during the walkthrough.
  - They were disappointed to learn that your experience did not meet expectations and want to assure future guests that the property is regularly maintained with great care to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

  We enjoyed our stay in this quiet, well appointed home. It was a perfect getaway for the week. Minor issue at check-in was resolved quickly without a problem. Would recommend to anyone looking for the comforts of home while traveling.

  We stayed for the weekend because we had a dance competition in town and loved the house! We enjoyed walking over to the nearby restaurant for dinner and the view of the lake. The check in process was a breeze and we would absolutely recommend this property!
