  • Not pleasant at all!

    Upon arrival, we saw two roaches in the living room. The couches were dirty and need replacement. When setting up the pull out couch there was trash inside of it so we could tell a deep clean of that couch has not been done in a while which is pretty disgusting. We had to vacuum that couch with a vaccum that smelled pretty bad so we just ended up having to put a bunch of covers over the bed. The sinks still had toothpaste splatters. Cleanliness was definitely not there. Owner needs to address this and handle this in a much better way. No type of compensation was given after all of this so I will just leave this as a suggestion to the owner.

    Hi Diana, we apologize that you had some issues during your stay. We've followed up with the homeowner, and they would like to share the following:
    - The guest expressed concerns about the cleaning being late in the evening, and my local contact responded the next morning. Since there was no reply, the cleaning team visited the unit, but the guest was not there.
    - Another text was sent to the guest, informing them that someone had visited and asking if there was anything else they needed. The guest did not respond and remained unresponsive for the remainder of their stay.
    - It has been confirmed that there are no roaches in the unit, as the HOA provides regular pest control for the entire property. The guest likely saw a palmetto bug, which was likely allowed in while the door was open.
    Thanks for your valuable feedback as we continue to improve for future guests!

    We have stayed in this condo complex before and hoped it would be similar experience but right from booking it was off to a bad start. Communication with property was non existent, when messaged a 3rd time I was sent an email for ME to reach out and when given contact info they gave me the cleaning lady contact info… no beach equipment available which I had to ask for to the cleaning lady, only provided 1 roll of paper towels and the toilet paper was barely paper.one of the outlets in the master did not work, and the couches need to be replaced! It is just very clear this property is not looked over properly and could have a lot more potential if certain aspects were updated.

    From the owner: Hi Madison C, we are sorry to hear you were disappointed with your return trip to our area.

    - We did our best to help you out with beach gear. We used to provide it, but unfortunately, a lot of the items we provided walked away, or they were just not cared for by the people who used them. It turned out to be more of an issue and expense than it should have been. We do not advertise that beach gear is provided, and we do not provide it any longer.
    - The pre-stay instructions very clearly provide the local contact and a request that any issues be communicated at check-in so they can be resolved. My local contact can reach me 24/7. We also verified with Evolve, and they responded to the messages you sent with the information you needed. We also worked with you directly.
    - The couches are still in good shape and will be replaced when needed. We do take very good care of the property to ensure it is always 100% guest-ready.
    - We will look into the outlet in the master bedroom, we were not aware there were any issues.

    We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

    This was our third time here, same unit 8F. The easy access to the pool and beach are great. I will say that the unit was very dusty and the dryer was filled with sand and lint. The master bed was extremely uncomfortable and hard to sleep on. Other than that we had a great time.

    This was our third time here, same unit 8F. The easy access to the pool and beach are great. I will say that the unit was very dusty and the dryer was filled with sand and lint. The master bed was extremely uncomfortable and hard to sleep on. Other than that we had a great time.

    - We want all of our guests to rest easy. While this mattress is new within the last couple of years, we recognize that mattress preference is unique to each guest and while we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, mattress taste is subjective. We're sorry the mattress didn't meet your preferences.
    - We have talked with our cleaning crew to ensure that the concerns surrounding dust and lint do not recur for future travelers.
    - The HOA has recently replaced the dryer vent that leads outside. Additionally, we have a sign posted in the unit asking every guest to ensure they are cleaning out the dryer lint each time they use it.
    As is evidenced by the many great reviews, these owners are accustomed to providing memorable experiences, and we hope to host you again soon!
