Beautiful respite in the Black Hills
5/5 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hakuna Matata! The house was as beautiful as the photographs and had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was the best stocked vacation rental kitchen I’ve ever used. We really appreciated having all the kid-friendly dishes and little play area. The hot tub was perfect for the chilly spring afternoons and evenings. The house is in a great location for Mount Rushmore and Custer Stare Park. We would certainly stay here again.

Amazing place to stay!
5/5 This was absolutely gorgeous place to stay right in the middle of all the sites around Keystone and Hill city. Quiet area and the house was perfect for our family, they even had a little coloring area for our little! Highly recommend staying here.

Quiet Christmas getaway
5/5 This was the prefect "home base." Centrally located near attrations by Hill City and Keystone, it was also very clean and comfortable. The home was well stocked with all the things we needed to cook and serve meals. It felt private and relaxed.

Thanksgiving 2024
5/5 Beautiful home and property. Very accommodating management. Blanche was very responsive. House was beautifully decorated for Thanksgiving. Kid friendly with an activity corner and dishes for them. Spacious and clean home. Traveled with trailers and UTV’s. And pet friendly. Will definitely keep this home in my favorites!!
