• Cabin for three couples

  My wife and I rented the cabin for us and our two adult children and their spouses. The layout of the cabin has a bedroom and full bath on each floor which worked for us. All major items worked fine, however, the cabin was not cleaned well, and there are nails sticking up on the upper stairwell and upper bedroom floor. Also, the hot tub was not acceptable as it was not cleaned properly and the water cloudy. The cleaning agency should get a bad review, but the cabin itself was OK.

  The 3 levels were perfect for our family. Everyone had their own space. We enjoyed sitting outside in rocking chairs. The location was close to everything we wanted to do. The only issue was the driveway. It wasn’t easy to turn around when leaving. We would back out of driveway, go up the mountain, to turn around and head back to the main road.

• Enjoyable Weekend

  We enjoyed our visit to the Great Smokey Mountains for Memorial Weekend and this cabin was a great retreat after our full days of adventure. We loved having a bathroom with each bedroom to accommodate three sets of people. The pool table and hot tub were great to have available. We did need the washer and dryer to have bath clothes for our third day. The location was good. We are used to staying higher up in the mountains with a more serene environment, but we loved not spending time coming up and down the mountain. This location gave plenty of privacy and was easy to access from the main attractions. A couple of our party even got to see a bear meander down below the porches on the morning of our departure. How perfect! The property manager checked in to make sure we were good during the week and made sure we knew to be out by 10 on our last day. Overall, 5 out of 5. We would come back here.
