• Not the greatest stay

  We had trouble finding the door lock to get into the house. As I was walking around trying to find the door to get in, I fell through the deck and scratch my leg up. The first night we were there, we slept in a bedroom downstairs and the bed broke in the middle and out toilet in the bathroom was leaking. We could not get the dish washer to work. Other than that it was fine.

  It was ok! It could've been better. The. House do have an insect problem and the dryer took alot of time to dry clothes. The wifi in the master bedroom kept getting knock off and the remote that was in the bedroom didn't work,but the remote in the living room work for the bedroom. Also could have had enough sheet and blankets for the pull out couches. Also think about paving the driveway.Im glad it didn't rain while we was out because we would have had a hard time getting up that hill.

  • Extra sheets and blankets are stored in the drawers for guest convenience.
  • The remote may have been misplaced by a prior guest, and we’re addressing that.
  • The driveway has recently been paved, but with the frequent mountain rains, erosion is a recurring challenge. We are actively allocating funds for a more permanent blacktop solution, though it may take a little time.
  • As for insects, being in the Smoky Mountains means we’re surrounded by nature, and during the summer months, occasional pests can be inevitable despite our best efforts.
  
  We always strive to provide a positive experience and welcome guests with a mountain mindset that embraces both the beauty and the occasional rustic quirks of the area.

  This is a beautiful property and was a great size for our family vacation with 11 people (children and adults). The house was clean and close to major attractions. The porches were my favorite spot - so quiet and a beautiful view. My grandchildren loved the game room and the pool table. This is a good choice for large families with no mobility issues.There was an issue with a bed on the main level which I'm sure would have been corrected if I had made the time to report it to management, but my husband found supplies in the garage to fix a broken board which caused the mattress to sag into the middle. After the repair it slept nicely. Even though there are two bedrooms on the main level, the kitchen and laundry room are not on the main level so if you have family members with mobility issues keep this in mind.

• Fur babies friendly

  We enjoyed how peaceful and pet friendly it was. It was close to get to stuff. It was a nice place for all of us. Loved that it was pet friendly because that's why we booked it. We really enjoyed it!!

• Cleanliness of house

  House was completely unlockedFloors were dirty. House was dusty.Drip coffee pot didn't work very goodCommode in master bathroom ,water running all time.Had to jiggle handle to get it to stopBlood on mattress in downstairs bedroom For the money I paid i expected it to be spotless
