• Great location and views but...

  Truly love the location of this house. Unbeatable. Beautiful. Good distance from Galveston and on a nice beach that is basically private. The listing says washer and dryer as amenities but apparently they don't work? But was also told by the property manager that they aren't in the listing when they are mentioned several times and then he stopped responding to me. People came on the property and left stuff in the storage area downstairs which just feels like a safety issue. Heads up would be nice that someone would be on the property that's not us. The ac units went out on the last night, emailed host, no response. They came back on in the middle of the night. Backyard does have biting red ants so be aware of that as well. Could use a coat of paint on the on inside and some upgrades but otherwise it's a great, convenient little place to stay. I would stay here again for the location alone.

  - Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Evolve confirmed the washer and dryer were mistakenly listed on Vrbo due to a technical issue, which has since been addressed.
  - While no visits were scheduled during your stay, it’s possible a lawn maintenance crew stopped by.
  - We didn’t receive the message about the A/C, but we’re glad it kicked back on and we’ll be checking the system to ensure everything’s running smoothly.
  - We’re also addressing the ant issue in the backyard and taking your suggestions about updates and paint into consideration.

  The house has great location, on a short dead-end street, right on the beach with easy access. A great grocery store and diner within walking distance. 15-20 minutes from Galveston proper.

• Great Little Beachfront Property Exactly As Described

  Nice little beach house good for a small family. Reminds me of the lake cabin my aunt and uncle had years ago. Not as large as the neighboring properties but it's facing the same ocean. Very pleasant overall.
