• An Excellent Base for Galveston

  We spent time at the beach and Schlitterbahn in Galveston and this was a great space to have as base camp while we explored the island. Our kids loved the bunk beds! Check-in was easy and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The space was well laid out and worked great for our needs, and the towel heater was an excellent addition!

  This is an honest to truth experience of our stay..it was a nightmare and we counted down the days til we could leave. There were gnats, ants, and cockroaches. The front door seemed secure but hard to open and close, but there’s a door off the kitchen that opens into an alleyway that was, we felt, sketchy and nervous of a break-in. We didn’t feel safe. The beds were uncomfortable, the 1 queen bed was so squeaky and there is a hole in the wall behind the headboard that we believe bugs were getting in at. The toilets are very small. There is no cable. It was just very unsettling being there. Parking was not great but not the rental companies fault. One of the reasons we decided on this place was the hot tub, in the pictures, they make it seem like you can open a door and walk right to them - no, you can’t- you have to walk around to a community gate and get in. I would not recommend this place to anyone until the owners make some changes.

  - We didn’t hear from you during your stay, but we’re local and would’ve come by to check on concerns—since then, we’ve inspected for bugs or damage and didn’t find anything unusual.
  - While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, we're sorry the mattress didn't meet your preferences.
  - The hot tub is part of the shared community area, and while that’s noted in the listing, we’ll double-check the photos to make sure it’s as clear as possible.
