  The house smelled and it had mold. And there was a car spying on us which I think it was the owner

  -I don’t live on-site and wasn’t in the area during your stay—guest privacy is very important to me.
  -I’m not aware of any car watching the property, and I can assure you no one was sent to monitor your visit.
  -I haven’t received any past reports of mold or odors, but I’ll definitely take a closer look to make sure the home is in top shape for future guests.

• Galveston stay

  Pros: the house is close to the beach, the house has nice beach views, the bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen had plenty of plates/silverware/cups. Cons: the oven/stove does not work, the tv did not work, the 2nd bathroom is located in the garage which isn’t listed on the property details, there is no dishwasher and some plates were not clean when we tried to use them.

  Hi Brittany, we’re so glad you enjoyed the location and view, but we’re sorry other aspects fell short of expectations. After sending your feedback to the owner, they’d like to share the following:
  - The TV is working, but we're sorry for any trouble you had getting it set up during your stay.
  - We don't list a dishwasher in the property details, but we’ve asked the cleaning team to double-check that all dishes are spotless before each guest arrives.
  - We do have a full bathroom downstairs, and we’re updating our listing to clarify its location so future guests know what to expect.
  - We’re checking on the oven and stove to make sure they’re fully taken care of for the next guests.

  Wonderful beach house. Plenty of room and very close to the beach. The owner is very quick to respond if you have questions or concerns

• Nice beach view from back deck

  Our two-night stay was comfortable and the air conditioner was awesome! It's a quick easy 5 minute walk to the beach, and beach view from the deck was really nice. The house location provides quick access to dining, the Seawall, sight seeing and Galveston activities.

  Hi Louisa, We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the A/C, the beach views, and the easy access to all that Galveston has to offer! We also saw you had some feedback, and after checking in with the homeowner, they wanted to share the following:
  
  - There are detailed instructions provided for Wi-Fi, and the TV is a standard setup that many guests find easy to use.
  - The kitchen is stocked with a wide variety of dishware and cookware to support most guests’ needs.
  - We’ve double-checked the bathrooms and confirmed each one has a trash can; we’ll be sure to replace any that go missing between stays.
  - Oven mitts aren't currently part of the standard kitchen inventory, but your suggestion has been noted for future consideration.
