  The house worked well for our group. There were plenty of beds, and the view of the lake from the back deck was great. Nicely, the living area is on the same level as the kitchen and dining areas, providing a space for our family to play games. Two of our family members used the kayaks, which was a bonus for them. Our family had a wonderful time!

  The house itself was nice, but I do want to address some issues we encountered during our stay. Outside,- the playground was missing a board up top which made it a hazard for our children, and - one of the swings as well as the foosball table was broke, so those were not usable.- The listing said “2 charcoal grills (no charcoal provided)” but we were told last minute the charcoal grill was for decoration only- there is only a propane grill- There’s a gap in the fence to where one of the neighbor’s large dogs came into our area where we had children.- The deck is uneven, unstable with need of safety repairs, and gates not closing properly, so also a hazard for children.- Inside, the water smell was so bad, by the end of our stay we all felt nauseous. Just a brief amount of water filled the room with a sewage odor, which we were warned about only the night before our check-in. - One of the cots’ sheets were dirty, and after the removal of the sheets, I found fresh pee on the mattress protector, which had seeped through to the mattress, making that mattress unusable. (They did offer to come clean it, but the mattress was going to be unusable for the night either way since it’d be wet from cleaning)**I asked the owner for a credit since the property did not reflect the price we paid. He agreed to a small amount only IF I leave a 5 star review, screenshot it to show him, then afterwards he would Zelle it to me.** I would rather write an honest review. After these issues a

  -Regarding your request for an earlier check-in time, we understand how convenient that would be. Our standard check-in time is 4 PM to allow for thorough cleaning and preparation of the property between guests. Although we were able to accommodate a 3 PM check-in for you, you arrived before this time. We strive to adhere to these times to ensure every guest has a fresh and well-prepared space.
  
  We also want to address a concern about the condition in which the property was left. We have noted some damages that occurred during your stay. We wish we had been informed of these issues during your visit so that we could have addressed them promptly.
