  A Hidden Gem on the River – Pure Bliss!

  Our stay at Hope and Glory on the River was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a peaceful, luxurious retreat. The home is incredibly spacious, immaculately maintained, and tastefully decorated—every room invites you to relax and unwind. The beds were super comfortable, offering some of the best sleep we’ve had in a long time!

  The kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools and dishes we needed to prepare our meals with ease—perfect for family dinners or casual riverside breakfasts. The multiple decks provided stunning views and plenty of cozy spots to enjoy morning coffee, read a book, or simply breathe in the beauty of nature.

  We loved canoeing on the river and soaking up the serenity that surrounded us. The master bedroom was truly spectacular—spacious, serene, and beautifully designed.

  Another huge highlight was the host—warm, helpful, and incredibly responsive. She made sure everything was perfect and answered every call with kindness and care. Her hospitality added a personal touch that made the experience even more special.

  Conveniently located near San Antonio, with fun attractions like the Snake Farm and delicious meals at Mi Tierra Restaurant, we had the best of both worlds—adventure and relaxation.

  Hope and Glory on the River is the perfect place to unplug, de-stress, and reconnect with what matters most. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

  It was a great stay we got to experience my brother in law propose and we sure did do a lot a fishing 🎣 and on the canoes

• Fun Stay in Seguin

  The house was very well appointed. We booked a weekend for a family gathering. Our son really enjoyed fishing in the River and we used the kayaks. We would definitely consider staying here again. Host was great and very responsive.

• Excellent Spot

  The house was perfect for us (family of 4). Upstairs main living area and rooms were large and spacious, and the bonus space downstairs allowed the kids to have their own little area to get away when needed. Kitchen was nice and well stocked. We spent the holidays here and it easily accommodated holiday cooking.River at this house was amazing. Beautiful backyard/dock area was perfect for relaxing and spending time just disconnecting from our every day lives and enjoying the river.Evolve and the host were both responsive and helpful when needed. We don't typically stay at any place twice (there are so many options to try out, why limit yourself), but this house was great enough to warrant a second consideration if we ever want to go back to Seguin.

• 3 Generation Thanksgiving Holiday

  A wonderful holiday adventure attended by grandparents, parents, adult children and son-in-law (7 in total). Our home was spacious and well appointed with the perfect accommodations for all attendees to include a large working kitchen, casual and formal dining spaces, early morning and late evening activities, all within a spacious and embracing environment. Days started with early coffee down at the river around the fire pit, various group and personal conversations on the many river facing outdoor patios, home cooking straight from the huge kitchen, themed group dinners to include a smoked turkey, and end of day chats around the fire pit.

  Being beside the river made for truly amazing and reflective early morning starts, and canoe and dock fishing were wonderful activities easily accessed by all. The grandfolks from Los Angeles also enjoyed the local town history and impressive Riverwalk. A truly amazing 4 days that will be remembered and cherished by all.
