  1.Had 4pm check inarrived at 5:15pmstill cleaning propertysaid they needed 15 minutes more to finishwe returned to property laterthey were still not finished2.Discovered there were no sheets on king bedI found what I believed to be the sheets dirty along with some dirty damp towels in a basket in laundry roomtoo late to wash themhad to sleep on top of quilt. After washing them the next day I discovered there was a king flat sheet & queen fitted sheet3.The door to the upstairs sleeping unit would not stay lockedtried numerous times & it continued to unlock by itselfhad 2 frightened young girlsdid not feel safe sleeping up there with an unlocked door hence we ended up having 3 people sleep in the king bed with sheets that did not fit the bed, 3 people sleeping in the queen bed & 1 on couch with no sheets4.Not nearly enough clean towels for 7 people5.Took 2 days to get door lock codes to workhad to leave property unlocked with valuables inside6.Water pressure in hall bath was a trickle 7.Blinds brokenmissing parts8.I did speak with Mike several times who said he was in contact with the property owners but never received a call back, apology, or compensation from themvery disappointed

• Great Little House/Good AC

  We stayed here since we were attending a wedding in the area. Its an older house with lots of character. Home is well decorated like in the photos. The AC works really well and gets to temperature. The bath towels smell amazing.When we got the property we noticed some things that were not to our liking so we contacted the owner and they quickly called and went to property to address them. We like the effort the property owner did to make sure our stay met our expectations.Would stay here again with family as we it was just the right size we needed and great decorations in the house.

• Peaceful Retreat

  I had a great experience at Mike's place. The communication made the stay really easy and carefree. Mike was in contact just enough to let me know someone was there to help out if needed. The house is nicely updated and has a great "modern" cottage feel. I spent most my time on the back deck overlooking the beautiful hill county and watching the deer gather below. It was so peaceful. Just what I needed. I'd recommend this place and would return when in the area. Thanks Mike!
