  Hi Karel, we're sorry to hear your stay didn’t fully meet your expectations. After reviewing your feedback, we followed up with the homeowner and they shared the following clarifications:
  -The listing does not include photos of a large gas fire pit; however, there is a traditional fire pit located in the backyard. We always encourage guests to review the listing details and photos carefully to ensure the property aligns with their expectations.
  -Regarding the presence of ants, no concerns were reported by you or previous guests. Nonetheless, we take all feedback seriously and will be contacting pest control as a precautionary measure.
  -The walkways you mentioned are maintained by the town of Surfside Beach and were unfortunately damaged during the last hurricane. While we do not have control over their repair timeline, alternative beach access points are still available.
  -While internet service is provided by a third-party provider, occasional outages may occur and are unfortunately beyond our control.
  We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to enhance the guest experience.

• Just what we were hoping for!

  Excellent experience from beginning to end! I have never delt with a management company that was so great! Their communication was a step above. There was a last minute city septic issue and the Evolve team made us aware of it before we got to the home for check in. The city was out shortly after check in and took care of it. Other companies wouldn’t have bothered to let us know. The home was clean and looked just as seen online. (That is rare.) It was well stocked with towels, toiletries, kitchen needs, etc. We have been renting homes in Surfside Tx, literally my entire life and this was by far the best experience We have had. The owners truly seem that they have put their heart into this lovely home and they made a wonderful choice by using Evolve!

  My humble opinion is that you should not take this property into account if you want to spend a nice family vacation. The treatment is super bad. In addition, they handed it over to us at 6 in the afternoon when the contract was for 4 on the day of our departure. It only took us 30 minutes to leave. They called the police and they threw us out in a very bad manner as if we were committing a crime. I don't think it was the best way since we lost 2 hours of our stay. We were very understanding without detailing that we spent a night without air conditioning and they did not provide a solution.

Regarding the checkout, we were unable to approve a late departure and, unfortunately, had to involve local authorities when the scheduled time was not followed. During the stay, we also received complaints from neighbors about noise and disturbances, which are taken seriously, given our commitment to maintaining a respectful environment for the community. 
  
  Additionally, the home was left in a condition that required extra cleaning, and there was structural damage to the home and the A/C. We strive to be fair and transparent with all our guests, and we appreciate the opportunity to share our side of the situation."

  We had a wonderful time and the house was lovely. Great location just steps from the beach.
