• Loud weekend

  Not a good experience. There was a street festival with loud bands right underneath the front room that lasted the entire weekend until 2:00 in the morning each night. I had to put our two adult children in a hotel to spare them. No mention that the apartment is located over a bar. In my opinion it should not have been offered as a place to stay while that festival was going on.

  Hi Elizabeth, we want all our guests to feel fully informed and confident in their booking, and we’re sorry to hear this property wasn’t the right fit for your stay. Over a month before your arrival, the homeowner let us know about the scheduled street festival, and we promptly sent you an email with details about the event—including that there would be live music and festivities happening in the streets until the early morning hours and that your cancellation policy still allowed for a full refund, if you preferred to make other arrangements. Unfortunately, we never heard back from you. The listing’s first photo shows the bar with the apartment above it, and the description notes that live music is common to set accurate expectations. We encourage guests to closely review the listing before booking to find a property that meets their needs. We also appreciate the steps the homeowner took to be transparent, and we’ll continue working closely with them to ensure future guests know exactly what to expect.

  Great location downtown cool little spot. It worked for our race weekend in Sheboygan and we won our boat race thanks again!
