Perfect Spot for Taos Getaway
5/5 My pup and I stayed here as a home base while skiing at Taos Valley. The host gave great directions and everything inside was well marked for use. I’d definitely stay again.

El Prado Casita
5/5 Our stay was wonderful! The casita is perfect for a long or short trip. Only about 5 minutes from the downtown area with shopping and food and about a 30 minute drive to Taos Ski Valley. So many things to do and see in the area and then come home to a comfy cozy casita. Our hosts were communicative and gave easy to follow instructions. We hope to stay again!

5/5 Very spacious, and well decorated. Just a short distance out of town making it very peaceful and relaxing, but convenient to Taos. The view of the mountains is spectacular!!

Terrific Time in Taos!
5/5 The Cherokee Star Casita is the ideal place for a getaway! Whether your thing is food, art, relaxation, hiking, skiing, scenery…it can be found here. Every little thing that makes for Home Sweet Home is available in this spacious, yet cozy, place. I woke up before dawn everyday just to see the amazing sunrise through the giant, picture window. Very few people around and good roads to walk the pooch. Nice little back yard to sit and enjoy a fire or let the dog stretch. Dinner in was a breeze with supplies from CID’s and a well equipped kitchen. Comfort was considered and achieved with the bed/bedding and several, well thought out, seating areas. The weather turned chilly during our stay and the down comforter was just what we needed. Laundry on site let us pack just enough and save that precious cargo space for all the treasures we acquired from local artisans. The Enchanted Drive was a great way to get a taste of the many other places near Taos. Note:Red River Resort lets your dog ride the ski lift with you! The hosts provided their personal favorite things to do/see/eat along with guidebooks so there is no shortage of ideas for things to do. Three full days in the area WAS NOT ENOUGH! Cherokee Star Casita makes it easy to want to stay longer.
