  Well, the apartment was not clean We had to clean the bed linens ourselves because they weren’t clean. It was garbage on the floor and one of the bedrooms the freezer door kept popping over and every time we shot the refrigerator door the front burner no matter what we did with catch on fire and it was a glass top, so that was really scary and the. Exhaust fan blew in not out the manager kept asking us while we were in the swimming pool and kept pointing out how long we were in the swimming pool and was pointing out every little thing we did. He was very rude and mean, and trying to get a hold of the host manager was nearly impossible And everybody that lived there. It wasn’t a resort it was an apartment complex and everyone I talk to you wanted to know while we were there so it’s really concerning and the only good thing about it. It was only 17 minutes walk to the beach, but there was a broken closet door. There was no washer and dryer garbage in one of the bedrooms and a nasty, dirty whatever stain under the master bed, and the bed was broke there was a hole in the blinds where somebody could look out, and the wall had water damage in the master bedroom. We kept tripping over the rug that was rolled up and wouldn’t stay down no matter what we did. There was a crack in the door. It didn’t shut all the way that was it a night so we won’t be staying there again.

• New rental with potential

  The condo was very clean and freshly painted with new furniture and looks very appealing once inside. The outside was lacking upkeep as evident with the wine bottles that were located under the stairs used to access the unit. They laid there for the duration of our stay. The nice things about our stay were the comfortable beds, new furniture, and the nicely, but simply decorated interior. The lone shower was newly tiled, but the shower head was way too low for me. I am 6’1” and had to bend over to wet and rinse my hair. The televisions looked new and worked fine, but we struggled to get the cable working until the second evening of our stay. It took calls to rental agent, the cable company and quite a bit of troubleshooting to get them working. We had to make a couple of other calls to the cable company to keep it and the internet working for the duration of our stay. This was very frustrating since the weather was cold and we missed several March Madness games due to the cable not working properly. With the cold weather (40’s at night), we had to use the heat and could only get it to work on the “Emergency heat” setting. The AC worked fine and the rental agent promised to send a repair man out and told us to use the “Emergency heat” until it was repaired. Two other issues need to be resolved. Several of the wall outlets need replacing due to them being wallowed out and electrical plugs won’t stay in them (they fall out.) Potential to be 4-5 star if issues are fixed.

The outside is maintained by a Home Owners Association (HOA) and a maintenance man so unfortunately it is out of our control what happens outside. Additionally, the cable and Wi-Fi are also through the HOA and we have the fastest plan available. We are sorry that the cable not working properly impacted you from not being able to watch some of the March Madness games. The air conditioner was recently fixed by an HVAC specialist, so it will be working properly for our future guests.   Pros: Unit has been recently updated. Nice layout. New furnishings. Adequate accompaniments. Slept well as beds were comfortable. Wet bar is a cute touch. Close to coligny. Cons: Unit is listed as having 2 covered parking spaces which were not labeled and therefore we only got to park in a covered space once the entire time we stayed there as other vehicles would take our space regularly. This is a first floor unit so you can hear the other guests above you walking around. There was no welcome packet or check-in information in the unit. We had to contact the Evolve company on multiple occasions to get information like door codes and Wi-Fi passwords which typically are already given by the company prior in email.
